Meet Our Doctors
At Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic in Raleigh, NC, we genuinely care about you and your health. We work hard to ensure each patient is comfortable and informed so they can make the best decisions about their health and wellness.
We’re not intrusive. Instead, we like to educate you on all your options, so you have choices on how treatment is administered. Our procedure is gentle and works to align the neck and head with the spine to alleviate pain throughout the body. There is no “popping” or “cracking” involved. We use light force with a percussion instrument to correct spinal misalignment and remove any nerve interference.

Dr. Adam Austin, D.C., B.C.A.O.
Dr. Adam is a board-certified Atlas Orthogonist and has advanced proficiency rating in the Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique. His interest in the chiropractic field came after searching for a health care profession as a high school student andexposure to several chiropractors and their belief systems about health and wellness happened to resonate with his values. Undergraduate study at the University of Michigan included biomechanics, motor control, and exercise physiology. Study at the Life University College of Chiropractic helped develop a professional background rooted in a fundamental tenet: Chiropractic first, drugs second and surgery last. His current technique certifications are focused on facilitating the body’s innate ability to heal itself with minimal intervention. Dr. Adam’s mission includes providing quality chiropractic care while sharing a health paradigm based on vitalistic principles and implementing those same principles in his own life. Dr. Ali Volpe
Dr. Ali Volpe has a personal connection to chiropractic in which her mother’s life was saved by the Atlas Orthogonal Technique. Her mom was involved in a minor car accident, which caused a whiplash injury, and she began to develop debilitating symptoms that ultimately resulted in losing her vision. After just one atlas adjustment she could see again, and through treatment she was able to get her life back. This powerful experience is what helped Dr. Ali decide to devote her career to helping others through this technique.
If you know someone who could benefit from the AO technique, please have them give us a call. Dr. Ali is now accepting new patients.
Dr. Tyler Ledford
Dr. Tyler Ledford is a Carolina native who was born and raised in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He lived there until he decided to move further up in the mountains where he attended Appalachian State University. He received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology with aspirations of post graduate school. After some mentoring and insight from his professors and colleagues, he decided to take the more holistic and natural route and attend chiropractic school. One month before graduation however, Tyler was in a serious rear end collision where he sustained whiplash injury and soft tissue damage. Little did he know, he lost his proper curve and alignment in his neck from this incident. Tyler found and gained a new appreciation for chiropractic and its healing benefits as he recovered fully from this accident while regaining the normal alignment and function. When Tyler’s not working, and taking care of patients, he enjoys spending time doing anything outdoors, traveling, and trying new foods.
Dr Tyler is currently accepting new patients.
